Becka Wall is a fan of all things feminist, a good hashtag and learning to cook something new. She is the co-founder and co-editor of Moxie Media and is currently the digital media manager for a feminist, pro-choice organization. She is a blogger, writer and digital communications nerd; with experience at organizations like the National Women’s Law Center, Media Matters for America and the Newseum. In her spare time Becka likes to bake, read, run, color pictures of cats and marathon Doctor Who.

Moxie co-founder and co-editor Lauren Linhard has been working in the publishing and communications industry for six years, focusing on advocacy journalism with an interest in nonprofits, human rights, health and personal stories of strength. She is currently a communications associate for a global nonprofit. Though she is passionate about all parts of her work, her favorite aspect of journalism is giving a voice to a story that would have remained untold without her part as a reporter.

Managers

Melanie Davidoff, website manager for Moxie, is a library school grad who specializes in technology librarianship. She is currently working in the Computer Services department of a suburban public library. Her hobbies include reading, gaming, playing euphonium and bass guitar, and watching/having strong opinions about Rupaul’s Drag Race.

Alison Cannon‘s greatest passions are women’s rights and the written word. By day she works as a communications strategist in San Francisco, helping the Bay Area’s transportation agencies spread the gospel of public transit. By night she is a nasty woman, a crocheter of baby accessories and Moxie’s Digital Media Manager. Alison earned her feminist bonafides as a women’s history major at Brandeis University and later as a “professional feminist” in Washington, DC.
