The latest American Rage Survey has hit newsstands and numbers don’t lie – women have got some anger issues when it comes to societal norms these days.
Based on the survey from Esquire, NBC and Survey Monkey, 48 percent of women are angry about how they are treated by society. And it appears white women are leading the anger army, with 58 percent – compared to the 44 percent of women of color – stating they are angrier now than they were a year ago.

So what exactly are we all so pissed off about? Women specifically take issue with cops shooting an unarmed black man (77 percent) and billionaires buying elections (73 percent). But both sexes are equally abhorred by consumer fraud (80 vs.79 percent), dysfunction of congress (74 vs. 73 percent) and Bill Cosby (65 vs. 62 percent).
And to make matters even more concerning, only 49 percent of women equate feminism with equality, joined by only 36 percent of men. It gets worse – 9 percent of women and 19 percent of men relate feminism to feelings of anger.

This is no someone-spit-in-my-cheerios kind of stuff – these are some of the major headlines and speculative discussions from 2015. It seems the only thing that bands all genders, ethnicities and political parties together is the more than 90 percent rage rating toward school shootings. Could President Obama’s recent executive order on gun control cool our red-hot anger?
It seems we are no longer America the Beautiful, but America the Angry.
